As you create your website, the online software automatically saves your text, images, and any other content, and stores the files on secure Web servers that allow visitors to view your website 24 hours a day. To give you an idea how much space you might need, an average single Web page from the multi-page sites in our Design Library uses about 0.4MB (400K) of storage space. High-resolution images, audio, and multimedia files generally use a lot more space than text files: a 1-minute audio file occupies about 1MB; a 1-minute video file about 4MB. You can keep tabs on the total disk space used by your site as you create it by checking your Intuit Account Summary. Our Starter package allows up to 25MB of total storage space-that's about 12 times the size of the average complete site in our Design Library. If you need more space, you can opt for our Gold package, which offers up to 5GB of space, or our Platinum package, which includes up to 10GB. No matter which package you choose, you can upgrade to the next level if you find you need more storage space.

Bandwidth
The amount of information visitors can download (and upload, if your website contains forms or blogs) from your website over a specified period of time. When a visitor views a page on your website, the text and images that make up that page travel from our server to their computer via the Internet. The bandwidth included with your account is the maximum volume of data that can be transferred to and from your website in a month. The larger your files, and the more visitors you have, the more bandwidth you'll need. If you're not sure how much bandwidth you need, our staff can help you. A web page displays information (text, graphics, links, audio and/or video) in the window of a Web browser in a format that can be scrolled, viewed, printed, or saved like any single document. Multiple web pages are linked together under a single domain name to form a website. If you need to present a lot of information on your site, it's best to present it as several short Web pages organized by topic and sub-topic. This ensures each page downloads quickly, and visitors aren't overwhelmed with information. As a general guideline we recommend keeping each web page less than 100KB in size, and under one and a half to two screens long. Our Platinum package allows you to publish an unlimited number of web pages, restricted only by the total storage space required by the files. Our Gold package allows you to publish 100 web pages, and our Starter package allows you to publish five.
