Today we’re launching our first-ever brand campaign in our 35-year history as a company. To celebrate this momentous occasion, we are releasing a four-minute animated short film that highlights how Intuit helps power prosperity for our customers and the self-employed.
“There are 750 million people who work for themselves around the world who juggle managing their finances while pursuing their passions,” said Lucas Watson, chief marketing and sales officer at Intuit. “With today’s economy, and the pressures of managing time and money, sometimes it can seem like the odds are stacked against them. But Intuit exists to work for them.”
The film centers around Pari, an engineer at Intuitive Inventions who sees her friend Pete struggle with the upkeep of owning and operating his flower shop. Pari devises a plan to create The Intuit Giant, which brings the power of the Fortune 500 to her and her self-employed peers to help them tackle the obstacles of being independent from the traditional financial system.
As a metaphor for the combined power of Intuit’s ecosystem of products, the Giant, unique to every individual, is powered by our unrivaled set of small business data and sophisticated technology. Today, Intuit powers prosperity for 46 million customers by delivering products and services that save them time, deliver more money and provide greater confidence in their financial decisions.
The campaign will come to life across our social platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – make sure to check in over the coming months to see what the Giant is up to! Pete and The Giant will also make an appearance during our 15-second spot during the Big Game on February 4, so don’t forget to tune in.
