Our program provides free resources for students to boost their financial confidence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To start, enrollees will learn the basics of budgeting, managing debt, handling credit, saving, and investing. From there, attendees can explore more in-depth topics like taxes and entrepreneurship.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intuit for Education is powered by real-world tools and offers a customizable curriculum. From introductory topics to complex subjects, Intuit for Education can help prepare you or your students for real-world financial scenarios. Students can take the concepts they learn in the classroom and put them to work using apps like Intuit QuickBooks and Intuit TurboTax to navigate everyday scenarios.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Financial Literacy (Khan Academy)&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.khanacademy.org\/college-careers-more\/financial-literacy\" target=\"_blank\">Khan Academy&#8217;s online financial literacy course<\/a> takes attendees through 16 modules of financial education. You\u2019ll learn important concepts like budgeting, credit, financial goals, insurance, investments, and more.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This course is for anyone looking to learn the basics of personal finance and is free to join. It covers each topic in detail through easy-to-follow video lessons, helping people get a handle on key aspects of their financial future.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finance for Everyone: Smart Tools for Decision Making (edX)&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>edX partners with educational institutions like the University of Michigan (UM) to offer personal finance classes online. In its course, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edx.org\/learn\/financial-literacy\/the-university-of-michigan-finance-for-everyone-smart-tools-for-decision-making\" target=\"_blank\">MichiganX<\/a>, UM faculty take attendees through smart tools for financial decision-making.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This class takes a new perspective on financial literacy and focuses on tackling the everyday financial decisions we all must make rather than covering core, theory-heavy financial concepts. The availability of this course varies based on upcoming sessions, and it is free for students to join.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Personal Finance 101 (Udemy)&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.udemy.com\/course\/personal-finance-101\/\" target=\"_blank\">Personal Finance 101<\/a> is Udemy\u2019s curriculum for teaching the basics of everyday personal finance. The course consists of animated video modules that teach students how to file taxes, open a bank account, manage their credit cards, and more. Personal Finance 101 is free to attend and is about 3 hours long.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Money Smart for Young People (FDIC)&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdic.gov\/resources\/consumers\/money-smart\/teach-money-smart\/money-smart-for-young-people\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Money Smart for Young People<\/a> is actually 4 courses in 1 that educators can use to bolster their personal finance teaching. Presented by the FDIC, this curriculum contains age-appropriate financial education tracks for four different age groups, going in-depth for a personal finance class that\u2019s free.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade can all experience financial education tailored specifically to their unique life experiences. Modules can be taught as group lessons or 1:1.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The coursework covers topics like understanding currency, earning money, setting goals, saving and spending, and borrowing and lending. This curriculum and additional resources like handouts and activity books are offered through the FDIC\u2019s website.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking a personal finance class is a great way to set yourself up for the future.
