Extreme heavy rain caused record-breaking flooding across <\/span>Kentucky<\/span><\/a> this week, resulting in loss of power, homes and infrastructure across the state. The impact is being felt by our customers across the state and customer success partner employees at our Prosperity Hub in Hazard, KY, managed by <\/span>Sykes<\/span><\/a>, have been personally affected.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At Intuit, we work tirelessly to deliver on our mission to power prosperity around the world. It inspires us to use the collective strength of our products and our people to help <\/span>make the world a better place<\/span><\/a>, especially for those that need it most.<\/span><\/p>\n

To support those impacted in the region, we are making a donation to the <\/span>American Red Cross serving Eastern Kentucky<\/span><\/a> based in Hazard. In addition, we are matching donations made by our employees to the organization, which is part of our We Care and Give Back program.<\/span><\/p>\n

We launched our <\/span>Prosperity Hub Program<\/span><\/a> in 2016, with a mission to promote economic prosperity for people and communities in need by creating new jobs, as well as preparing people for jobs of the future and equipping entrepreneurs to start and build successful businesses. We partner with communities like Hazard to deliver programs that contribute to positive economic growth in communities that need it most.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the heels of the severe winter storm in Texas, the flooding in Kentucky continues to highlight the need for each of us to do our part in combating the impacts of climate change. From inside our company, to engaging our employees, customers and communities, we are committed to finding innovative ways to <\/span>protect our planet<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
