What is Phishing?

Phishing is a cybercrime aimed to lure individuals into revealing personal information or expose them to a download of malware that will infect their computer. Phishing lures will impersonate real companies. They come in various forms including emails, websites and phone calls. If you believe that you have received a phish, please don't click on any links or attachments, or reply to the email. We recommend you delete the email. If you have already clicked on a link or downloaded something from the email:

  1. Delete the download immediately.
  2. Scan your system using an up-to-date anti-virus program.
  3. Change your passwords.
