Through Scheduled Updates, you can also automatically retrieve stock quotes for your portfolio in Quicken, helping you stay on top of your investments. Quicken for Mac connects to over 1,200 banks, credit card companies, and brokerages - including Fidelity Investments, Harrisdirect (formerly CSFBdirect), RBC Dain Rauscher, and TD Waterhouse. Reviewing downloaded data is faster and more streamlined through a single window that enables you to select your bank, credit card or investing account transactions to review and accept. For users who do not download transactions, Quicken 2003 now includes a tutorial that showcases the benefits of downloading transactions. "In the past, you couldn't see the benefits of downloading transactions until you signed up for the service. Now, we've improved the visibility of this feature with a simple guide that demonstrates the time-saving value of downloading transactions from your various financial institutions," said Rosin. Quicken has always made it easy to track basic investments. As the investing world has become more complex, Quicken 2003 for Mac has kept pace allowing you to track more advanced investments including; stock splits, mergers, spinouts and spin-offs.
