H. Tayloe Stansbury

Executive Vice President,
Chief Technology Officer

H. Tayloe Stansbury is executive vice president and chief technology officer with responsibility for all product engineering and information technology. He joined the company in May 2009.

Stansbury has more than 30 years of experience as a technology and business leader, including more than 15 years as a senior executive in public software companies. He 
previously served as chief information officer of VMware. Earlier he was executive vice president of Ariba, where he led product management, engineering, hosting and customer support.


Before that he held executive engineering and general management roles at Calico Commerce and Xerox. In addition, he led developer tools engineering groups at Borland International and Sun Microsystems, and did research in computational linguistics at Xerox PARC.


Stansbury serves on the board of directors for Coupa Software, the leader in cloud-based spend management. He has also served on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations. He is currently trustee and chair of the advancement committee at Harvey Mudd College.
Stansbury earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in applied mathematics from Harvard University. He also completed graduate coursework at Stanford University in computer science, linguistics and mathematics.
