People and Culture

For sixteen consecutive years, Intuit has been ranked as one of the top 100 best companies to work for by Fortune Magazine, and we also ranked 8th on Fortune’s inaugural Future 50 list of companies that are considered to be the best prepared to thrive in the future. We believe this is because we foster a culture where all employees are empowered to act as entrepreneurs and challenged to do the best work of their lives. We’re proud of our diversity and inclusion at all levels of the company because we believe a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences enables innovation to thrive.

Intuit provides opportunities for employees to engage in high impact work and develop their careers. We also support their involvement in meaningful community engagement activities. Intuit’s commitment to its employees is paramount to the company’s culture and values, and Intuit’s 8000 global employees live our values every day. Our mission to power prosperity around the world aligns with our values and supports our belief that every employee should be able to bring his or her whole self to work.

Diversity and Inclusion

At Intuit, diversity and inclusion are part of who we are. In our culture, Diversity and Inclusion have been important since the beginning. We stay true to our roots to ensure that Intuit is a place where the world’s top talent is inspired to do the best work of their lives, innovate and make a difference.

We Care and We Give Back

Intuit’s We Care and Give Back program enables us to serve with passion and purpose in communities where we live and work. We Care & Give Back (WCGB) is a grass-root program that supports employees who want to make an impact in their community. We encourage employees to pursue their passions and to live one of Intuit's core values by using paid time off to volunteer with or request a donation match to qualified nonprofits.

Unstructured Time

In 2008 Intuit rolled out a program called Unstructured Time, giving Intuit employees up to 10% of their time to pursue a passion project. We apply Intuit’s Design for Delight methodology to accelerate innovation and fuel creativity. Some employees use Unstructured Time to solve new customer problems, others to improve internal processes. Some use the time to learn new skills. We give employees complete autonomy to elect how they use Unstructured Time because we believe it’s the key to unleashing passion and creative ideas. When our employees tap into their passion, they become more aligned to their inner sense of purpose, which in turn creates deeper engagement and speeds innovation and customer delight.
