About our programs

The Prosperity Hub School District program has partnered with 21 school districts across eight countries with a combined enrollment of more than 1.6 million students since 2019.

Each school district is selected based on two key criteria: economic need and diversity of the student body. Nearly 80% of students in these districts identify as being underrepresented minorities.

Intuit offers free financial education via personal finance curriculum, entrepreneurial finance education and hands-on programming, including the Intuit food truck program, professional development opportunities, scholarship competitions, and more to school districts who need them most.

Intuit food truck program

Intuit launched a program to build and deliver fully functioning food trucks with a commercial-grade kitchen to select school districts. When the food trucks hit the road in FY24 it will operate like an internship on wheels, enabling high schoolers to gain real-world experience by learning and applying the finance skills needed to run a business. We’ll also provide resource materials to support the food truck program as a Career and Technical Education Culinary Arts work-based learning food truck program, including lessons on running a sustainable business.

Financial literacy workshops

Durable financial skills are the foundation for future success. A recent survey reported that 75% of students in the US don’t feel fully prepared for the job market after high school when it comes to their college or career paths. One way we’re working to address this issue is through our financial literacy workshops, which introduce students to the basic concepts of finance through Intuit’s Financial Literacy Foundations coursework. Then, using real-world tools—including TurboTax and QuickBooks—combined with Intuit’s expertise, we help students apply the concepts they learned and build behaviors and confidence to increase financial acumen.
