This means that computers running on Windows 7 are more vulnerable to security risks and viruses. At Intuit, the security of our customers’ data is a top priority. To help safeguard our customers’ personal information, like their Social Security number and bank account information, the latest Intuit products will not work with Windows 7.

Microsoft recommends that Windows 7 users upgrade to Windows 10.

If you have TurboTax and QuickBooks Desktop Software, upgrading to Windows 10 is recommended

You can use TurboTax and QuickBooks Desktop on any operating system listed in the products system requirements (Windows 8/Windows 8.1/Windows 10). Windows 7 is no longer a supported operating system.

No need to re-purchase TurboTax or QuickBooks

Once you’ve upgraded your Windows operating system, your current version of TurboTax or QuickBooks Desktop will work on your PC. You don’t have to buy them again.
