Dedicated networks pivot long-term growth

Tech Women @ Intuit and Intuit Women’s Network create a valuable impact on our women technologists. These networks offer support in their career trajectories— from starting out to excelling in their craft. Women’s Initiative to Lead and Learn is a 6-month program providing coaching, workshops and webinars. It supports them to be authentic and play true to their strengths.

Women make inspiring strides in tech

Women technologists are key contributors to our external tech reputation building efforts. We love to showcase their work in reputed publications. These stories are valuable as they create visibility for our women technologists and build momentum for their future. YouStory, Analytics India and Times are some of the publications featuring women technologists and leaders at Intuit.

Increase women representation in technology roles

We are focused on attracting, retaining and advancing women in technical roles. Our effort to increase overall diversity in tech and look beyond gender matters to us. We saw positive momentum in our strategy. In FY’21, we met our goal for the representation of women, reaching 30% of our technology organization. We set a goal to increase the representation to 37% globally by FY’24.

Empower girl children across India

The Girl Child Education Program has evolved as a greater opportunity for us to empower more girl children across India. We aim to sponsor the education of hundreds of girls through free schooling, after-school tutoring, career counseling and life skill lessons in the coming months and years.

We have a supprotive structure in place

WiTech

Tech Women at Intuit organized and hosted WiTech in FY21. For women technologists, the virtual tech event widens the scope to augment learning, because it comprises several tech flash talk presentations, 6 paper submissions for the White Paper challenge, 4 networking booths, and an engaging panel discussion on Digital Transformation in Covid era.

Women’s Initiative to Lead and Learn

Women in leadership positions can bring a lot of perspectives to decision making, priorities our company has, or even initiatives that our company leads. Dedicated for women engineers who are at staff, senior software engineer levels or equivalent levels in other functions, the program offers a myriad of classroom sessions, coaching and mentoring by Intuit leaders.

Intuit Again

Intuit Again is on a mission to help women restart their careers and regain confidence to make a meaningful impact. The program was launched to tap into a pool of talent keen on rejoining the industry. Supported by a dedicated team, the 6-month returnship program allows women technologists to enhance their skills by working on some of the latest technologies.

Employee Speak

Intuit is a great workplace for women. The benefits and policies point to how well they understand the challenges facing women. What inspires me most is how Intuit creates opportunities for women in tech. Intuit India sponsors education for underprivileged girl children through employee referrals. I felt connected with the company since my first day of joining.

We have the flexibility to choose how we work to maintain our work-life balance.
