For years, FIXE faced a recurring vulnerability. As restaurant clients expanded to manage dozens of entities, they would inevitably hit the functional limits of QuickBooks Online, prompting high-value clients to evaluate solutions such as R365, Sage Intacct, or NetSuite in search of robust multi-entity management.

Without a dedicated mid-market offering, Handel states this “graduation” represented a significant risk for FIXE: potential client churn and a disruptive “rip and replace” implementation for the restaurant group.

A strategic up-market shift with Intuit Enterprise Suite

Adopting Intuit Enterprise Suite was a strategic move that fundamentally changed FIXE’s market position. The Suite provided the necessary multi-entity consolidation and intercompany accounting, but without the heavy implementation costs, extended timelines, or steep learning curves associated with traditional ERPs.

The multi-entity workflows and consolidated reporting inherent to Intuit Enterprise Suite allowed FIXE to move up-market, which Handel notes, “Allowed us to service and sell to restaurant groups we simply couldn't have handled before.” By integrating Intuit Enterprise Suite, FIXE can now offer the sophisticated financial management larger groups required, while keeping them in the familiar, user-friendly Intuit ecosystem, avoiding the painful “rip and replace” of switching to a traditional ERP.

Reclaiming time and generating revenue at scale

The return on investment for FIXE was immediate, delivering hard revenue gains and critical operational efficiencies that validated the company’s strategic shift with IES.

  • Winning the mid-market: The ability to confidently pitch complex clients instantly impacted the top line. Right away, Intuit Enterprise Suite helped FIXE land two large clients representing “north of $35,000 a month,” according to Handel. He emphasizes that Intuit Enterprise Suite is not only an operational tool, but a driver of new growth. 
  • Efficiency at scale: Intuit Enterprise Suite also transformed the daily workflow for FIXE’s account managers by eliminating what Handel calls the “swivel chair” data entry previously required for complex groups. For one multi-state restaurant group, “They buy a ton of ingredients and distribute to all their locations via a centralized commissary entity.” Intuit Enterprise Suite automated the web of intercompany billing that was previously a manual nightmare. Today, FIXE’s account managers each save “at least 10 to 15 hours a month.” Even better, onboarding QuickBooks Online clients to Intuit Enterprise Suite “takes days instead of months,” freeing critical capacity as the company continues to scale.
  • Client success: For clients, the platform provides the necessary controls to manage scale. One popular pizza chain, operating 23 locations with approximately $50 million in annual revenue, now relies on Intuit Enterprise Suite to secure its financial infrastructure. Handel notes that “dialing in the financials and efficacy” for clients of this size is critical, especially as they leverage Intuit Enterprise Suite to prepare for future franchising opportunities and potential public market funding.

Supporting FIXE’s roadmap to 10,000 locations

With the “graduation” ceiling shattered by Intuit Enterprise Suite, FIXE has set aggressive targets. With a continued 50% year-over-year growth and Intuit Enterprise Suite helping acquire and retain their largest, fastest growing clients, Handel believes that FIXE could get close to serving 10,000 restaurant locations in a matter of years. 

Looking ahead, FIXE plans to deepen its integration with Intuit, particularly by leveraging Intuit's AI features to automate bank feeds and profitability reviews. For Handel, the partnership is just beginning, and he’s excited to drive even greater efficiencies and growth for his team and his clients.
