Intuit completes acquisition of Mailchimp

With today’s close of the Mailchimp acquisition, Intuit moves one step closer to delivering an innovative, end-to-end customer growth platform for small and mid-market businesses. 

We are excited to share that Mailchimp, a world-class, global customer engagement and marketing platform for growing small and mid-market businesses, is now officially a part of Intuit.

Mailchimp will advance our mission to power prosperity around the world for consumers and small businesses, alongside TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Credit Karma. Together, Mailchimp and QuickBooks will help small and mid-market businesses overcome financial challenges, and solve their biggest barriers to growth — getting and retaining customers.

For two-thirds of small businesses, finding new customers is their biggest obstacle, and more than a quarter struggle to retain existing customers. Even so, nearly three-quarters of small businesses have not adopted a customer relationship management solution.   

Together, Intuit and Mailchimp will allow small business owners to get their business online, market their business, manage customer relationships, benefit from insights and analytics, get paid, access capital, pay employees, optimize cash flow, be organized and stay compliant, with experts at their fingertips.
