Coming Together with Bunker Labs to Support Veterans

Social Responsibility

At Intuit, maker of TurboTaxQuickBooks and Mint, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. That includes our commitment to building programs and initiatives that positively impact the lives of veterans and military families through community, jobs and financial empowerment.

One of our goals is to help veterans and military families build civilian careers and we’re proud to partner with Bunker Labs as we find new ways to support military entrepreneurs in starting and growing their businesses.

Bunker Labs is a national network of veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs dedicated to helping the military-connected community start their own business. Their goal is to see that every entrepreneur in the military-connected community has the network, tools, and resources they need to start their own business.

We’re thrilled to come together to offer veterans and military families unique opportunities to develop small business and entrepreneurship skills.

  • Bunker Lab’s virtual Muster Across America Conference: The upcoming 2021 virtual conference will showcase veteran entrepreneurs, expert talks, panel discussions, networking opportunities and even a pitch competition, all created to support and help build powerful connections between the veteran and business communities.
  • Two new modules for Bunker Labs online learning platform: This winter we’ll be launching online learning focused on financial management for entrepreneurs and design thinking to help make the entrepreneurial dream of active military and veterans a reality.
  • Veteran Entrepreneurship in the COVID era roundtable discussion: In recognition of Veterans Day, we’re inviting veteran small business owners to speak to members of Congress about their experience in the COVID economy and its impact on their businesses.

“We recognize that starting and growing a business is hard, says Dave Zasada, Vice President, Corporate Responsibility at Intuit. “Intuit and Bunker Labs are both committed to doing what we can to empower military-connected entrepreneurs and make their dreams come true.”

Veterans and military spouses have a unique set of skills and talents, while also experiencing their own challenges. That’s why we’re continuing our commitment to build programs and initiatives that help support the financial empowerment and improve the financial lives our active military service members, veterans and military families.
