Intuit will be recognized for having 30 percent or more women who make up its board of directors – far outpacing the nationwide average of companies with 20 percent or fewer women on boards of directors. “Creating #BalanceforBetter starts with our leaders and we are committed to a more gender-balanced world as we work toward Powering Prosperity,” said Sasan Goodarzi, CEO. Intuit will receive honors in November 2019 at the Women’s Forum of New York’s biennial breakfast, where leading CEOs will be speaking on why and how to accelerate the pace of change for gender parity in the boardroom. Launched in 2011, the biennial breakfast of corporate champions salutes Fortune 1000 and S&P 500 companies with an increasingly high percentage of board seats held by women. Intuit’s mission to power prosperity around the world is fueled by its values and supports the belief that every employee should be able to bring their whole self to work. Innovation thrives in a workforce that includes employees with a wide range of life experiences and a supportive culture that lets great ideas rise to the top.
