Athena’s Annual Pinnacle Awards – now in its 20th year – hosts over 600 leaders in science, technology, and business to recognize excellence in the promotion and mentorship of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). The Pinnacle Awards is a staple of Southern California’s technology and life science sectors, showcasing the best in class for those individuals and organizations advancing women in STEM. Not only were we nominated as a company, but six of our San Diego employees were nominated in the “Individual in Technology” category, including: Alex Balazs Aliza Carpio Rocio Montes Kylie Taitano Virginia Jacobs Kimbra Brookstein Additionally, our very own Sonia Sng, Director of Business Operations at Intuit, has been named to The EMpower 100 Ethnic Minority Executives List, presented by the Financial Times. Congrats to Sonia! Each year, the Financial Times surveys employees across the nation, and selects role models based on seniority and influence, looking for high profile men and women who have worked to create an environment that brought the best out of black, Asian, and minority ethnic employees. “Powering prosperity” is not just a phrase. It’s what drives us to come to work each day and makes the Intuit experience truly inspiring. Thank you again to all of our dedicated employees!
