Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

At Intuit, we celebrate diversity and value inclusion. Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are an important part of our diverse and inclusive workplace and offer an opportunity to learn from role models, mentors and peers. ERG members help create a culture of diversity and inclusion across the organization.

In 2020, the ERGs had an amazing year full of high-impact programming and incredible outcomes transitioning to 100% virtual programs. It grew membership by 38% in the year globally. In India the ERGs saw 133 members  joining our thriving communities.

Intuit India leadership team

The Intuit India Steering and Leadership Team (IILT) are key to bubbling up collaboration concerns, accomplishments and learnings from across business units. All our VPs and Directors meet once a month and use the forum for collaboration across teams. This group plays a key role in ensuring every business unit has a voice at the table, receives consistent messaging in the true One Intuit spirit and gets the opportunity to contribute to site-wide outcomes.

The pandemic has been a difficult one for all of us and leaders have been in constant discussion to make sure we are doing all we can to support our people through it. The key themes that our leaders focused their energies on this year have been balance and well-being for their teams and themselves.

How our Engagement Council works

Creating experiences

Creating experiences

The Intuit India Engagement Council brings together our employee networks and community leaders to collaborate for the overall engagement agenda. In the last few years, the Council has been instrumental in planning key engagement offerings.

Widening employee participation through the Great Place To Work (GPTW) Ambassador Community, creating delightful experiences for employees and members of the family through offerings like the Little Intuit Day and #IntuitLifeLive – all of which has greatly contributed to us being recognised as among the best companies to work for consistently over the past decade.

Virtual mindfulness sessions

Virtual mindfulness sessions

Our Engagement Council and the WCGB team came together to organize a Mindful Yoga session for our employees. Conducted virtually, this effort demonstrates how our teams join hands to organize activities for the wellbeing of the employees and help them cultivate a healthy way of life. Apart from Mind Yoga the two groups partnered to organize multiple virtual engagements like Zumba, Meditative yoga among others.

Great Places to Work (GPTW) Employee-ambassadorship program

Employee-ambassadorship program has been our secret sauce for achieving our consistent top 2 ranking in India’s Best Companies to Work for list. Every year we refresh this community by inviting new members to be part of it.

Today, we have about 100+ ambassadors in the program in 2020. Many of whom have emerged as leaders, coached peers, and gained cross-functional experience contributing to your own growth journeys.

Sharing

As Intuit’s storytellers, spotlighting and sharing the best of our culture, workplace, and employee experience and cross-pollinating their learnings and best practices across businesses.

Engaging

As our employee experience advocates. Our ambassadors are the representatives of their teams and understand what works best for them.

Inspiring

Mobilizing and championing the employee voice and leading transformational initiatives.

Transforming

Embracing the role of change agents as our hands and feet on the ground, they conduct employee listening tours to highlight and solve for employee pain points.

The power of our Next Gen Network

The NGN community has been partnering with various sets of employees, teams and groups to launch virtual engagement activities.

In collaboration with the GPTW Ambassadors community, the team launched the first ever virtual quiz event – Inquizitive, to bring a sense of fun and community while we worked from home.

In collaboration with our onboarding and talent acquisition teams, they organized Virtual Sessions for New Hires, to educate the new hires on the various initiatives and programs they can contribute to as part of NGN.

Collaboration doesn’t just mean helping, it means coming together to make a mission successful. It doesn’t matter which team you belong to, we all are moving towards a mission which can happen only if we have the One Team mindset.
