Empowering tech women at Intuit

WiTECH – Women in TECH

Held in Dec 2020, it is a tech event organized by the Tech Women of Intuit (TWI) community in collaboration with the talent acquisition and the employer branding teams. Its purpose is to bring women technologists from across Bangalore onto a single platform to connect and exchange ideas as a community. There were technical sessions, product demonstration, hands-on workshops and panel discussion during the event.

With Transformation Product to Platform as the key theme, the event sought to create awareness on how Intuit is leveraging the latest technologies to power prosperity for our customers.

Women in Data Science (WiDS) 2020 conference

Intuit hosted the virtual Global Women in Data Science (WiDS) 2020 conference. The forum aims to inspire and educate data scientists worldwide, regardless of gender, and support women in the field. WiDS organizes an annual one-day technical conference to provide an opportunity to hear about the latest data science-related research and applications in a broad set of domains.

Women’s Initiative to Lead and Learn (WILL)

The TWI team in partnership with the Talent Development have launched a leadership development program aimed at our women employees. Women’s Initiative to Lead and Learn (WILL), focuses on building leadership attributes such as risk-taking, being assertive and owning one’s career. Targeted towards our women engineers who are at staff and senior software engineer levels, the program’s goal is to expand leadership capabilities by focusing on -

This employee led community works towards empowering people with disabilities (PwDs). During COVID outbreak the Intuit Ability Network shifted all the initiative to online and organized various virtual employee engagement programs.
