QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping Experts will work directly with customers through Intuit’s virtual bookkeeping tools, including video conferencing, messaging, and a client management portal. Customers will schedule a time to engage services, and the Bookkeeper will work on their books with them.

New in your Bookkeeping career: 

• Communicate directly with clients, answering specific bookkeeping & QBO questions (written & oral).
• Communicate with the team to summarize month-end closing to ensure books are completed in a timely manner.
• Provide monthly bookkeeping services for clients by reviewing and categorizing transactions. 

Experienced Bookkeeping Expert: 

• Evaluate/manage complex bookkeeping problems, such as financial statements errors, chart of accounts cleanup, sales tax issues, unsolved A/P and/or A/R, payroll issues, merchant services, and 3rd party interaction concerns/questions.
• Create high quality customer interactions and experiences that instill confidence using deep customer empathy. Communicate directly with customers, answering specific domain questions (written & oral).
• Meet highly efficient deadlines and have the ability to quickly process all client work per our service agreement
• End to end bookkeeping on a monthly basis for 45-60 clients each monthly closing cycle. Prepare and review Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Financials other reports for any discrepancies and create a financial management package.
• Communicate with clients and team members to summarize month end closing to ensure books are complete in a timely manner. Maintains detailed notes in client files for continuity of service.
• Assist clients in either establishing and/or updating their chart of accounts to align with types of business entities.

Most of our bookkeepers work at home in an area where they can handle calls privately. However, just because it’s remote doesn’t mean you’ll ever be on your own. Every day, you’ll work together with other bookkeepers to help small businesses and grow your own expertise.

As a QuickBooks Live Bookkeeper, you will receive an Intuit laptop, preloaded with all the tools and systems you need to help customers. 

You will also need a dedicated internet connection.

This is a remote position where you will work virtually in a dedicated workspace where you can interact with customers on video without interruption.

In addition to the all-in-one laptop, we’ll provide:

• VPN access via Smartphone
• Video Camera
• USB Headset
• Ethernet Cable

Yes, there will be thorough training on every aspect of the role, including:

• detailed expectations for the role
• the software you’ll use to conduct video calls with customers
• how to handle everyday situations and more

It consists of a 2-week, self-led and instructor-led, online training with ongoing check-ins with managers. There will always be support available for you at any point, whether it’s before, during, or after training.

We are looking to cover operating hours from 6AM to 6PM PST, Monday through Friday. You will have a fixed schedule. And you will choose the set schedule you'd like to work within the QuickBooks Online regular business hours (6AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday).

You will be paid hourly. Pay is determined by regional location, interview, and years of experience.
